There are so many fashion apps out there that offer similar services like finding links to your favorite items but here is a true story…
Dejamoda has its Own Search Engine
I was reached out to by a new fashion app called Dejamoda. At first I thought they were like other apps that share blogger and celebrity outfits with links to find the products, kind of a “fashion community”. When I came to the meeting I started playing around with the app and all of a sudden realized that this app was a bit different. Not only could I find links to items that I saw in different outfits, but I could search for similar items. The app itself has its own search engine. Genius! For example if I see a pair of nude colored boots (that I’ve been looking for forever) I can search for more items like it just by clicking on it or typing the words in. And let me tell you, I have actually been looking for a pair of nude ankle boots since the summer- I have searched long and hard on Google Shopping, Norstrom, Zappos, and all of my favorite online stores, I found nothing. Then I used Dejamoda to search for the same item I found the perfect pair through their search engine. Amazing!
Now, a little about this outfit and the photo. Flare jeans have been back in style for a while, and I’ve been wanted to do a post about how to wear them. These jeans are from H&M that I got on sale for like 10 dollars, I paired them with a backless bodysuit, a black kimono, stacks of bracelets and a hat. The image above is a shot of how the outfit looks like in the Dejamoda app (link here) with bubbles linked to each item. What did you think of the outfit? Hope you loved it and you can go into the site of the app to find my photo with the links to all the items and where to find similar items. Have a great weekend and until next time xx Karen.
